Can't choose newly added selectors

For some reason I can't choose new selectors besides root, is anyone having the same issue?

I'm running 0.4.2 version on Chrome
Google Chrome 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)
MAC OS Catalina

I seem to be experiencing the same issue

Google Chrome is up to date
Version 80.0.3987.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Windows 10 Pro

There's an ongoing issue with Chrome auto-updates breaking extensions. Here's a possible workaround:

  1. Close all other browser windows.
  2. Go to any website where the WS extension works, i.e. when you press F12, you should see the Web Scraper tab. The WS forum website, https://forum.webscraper.io/ should work.
  3. Click on the Web Scraper tab.
  4. While you're still in the same tab with WS open, surf to the website you really want to be at.
