Selector won't work

Hi everybody,

sorry for posting a basic question – couldn't find it on the forum:

I can't select an item. By clicking the element I want to select it'll just switch from DevTools to the browser window. The webscraper interface doesn't seem to connect with the page.

Place your dev tools in the same window as web page. You can do it by clicking on the 3 dots in the right corner of the dev tools and changing dock side to one of the sides.
