I would like the "element preview" button to show some indication of how many matches it finds on the page.
When I create or edit a selector by hand, I use the element preview to verify that I coded it correctly. But sometimes I was too loose in matching, and my selector matches more than one thing. To detect this failure, I have to scroll the entire page from top to bottom looking for more than one red highlight. Tedious and error-prone.
And sometimes a match is found but on this particular page the red highlight is too tiny for me to notice. I lost a lot of time hunting that bug.
Both bugs can be easily noticed if there's a match-counter displayed somewhere.
